Dr. Peck

Dr. David I. Peck graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1979, and from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey in 1983. Today, he is still passionate about learning and regularly takes courses through the prestigious Las Vegas Institute. He is certified through the University of California at San Francisco in laser treatment for gum recontouring and periodontal therapy and is well-known for his extensive knowledge about dental implants, crowns and bridges, and dental veneers.

When not seeing patients near Chicopee, Dr. Peck teaches dental implant surgery in Mexico, and is currently affiliated with AIE, Advanced Implant Education. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Valley District Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Dr. Tyra

Raised in both in Poland and Connecticut, Dr. Elwira Tyra graduated from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 2015 where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following her dental residency, she returned to the United States to complete her general practice dental residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. She then attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental medicine, graduating with honors and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in September 2020.

Dr. Tyra strongly believes in community outreach, having volunteered both in her native Poland and here in Massachusetts. She has organized numerous dental fundraisers and workshops, blood drives and much more, and even earned recognition for her role as an Outreach Chair for the Boston University chapter of Alpha Omega International Dental Society.

Dr. Tyra is well known for her calm, gentle demeanor. She is Invisalign Certified and constantly strives to expand her dental skills and knowledge.

Dr. Greenburg

Dr. Stephen Greenberg earned his undergraduate degree in environmental science at the University of Colorado at Boulder, his Master of Science degree in biomedical sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine, and his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is pleased to be a member of the team at Taylor Street Dental, where he gets to work alongside one of his favorite mentors, Dr. David I. Peck.

Dr. Greenberg has volunteered extensively alongside other dentists in diverse places like Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Mexico, as well as right here in Massachusetts at Mission of Mercy.

He is keenly interested in cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, and dental surgery, and has extensive expertise in tooth extractions, root canals, dental crowns, dental bridges, dentures, and dental implants.

Dr. Greenberg is proud to offer personalized care on an individual basis and is eager to get to know his patients at Taylor Street Dental and understand their personal smile goals.

Dr. Truong

A Springfield native, Dr. Hien Truong earned his bachelor's degree in microbiology with a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Comprehensive Care.

After graduation Dr. Truong served in the National Health Service Corp as a dental provider at Caring Health Center, as well as hospitals, public schools and churches. He is an active member of Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) and American Dental Association (ADA).

A major proponent of continuing education, Dr. Truong, regularly completes continuing education courses to expand his skills and keeps current on the latest in dental technology and trends. He is passionate about having fun in his free time, but is equally as dedicated to community service, especially lending his skills to patients in areas with major health disparities.
