How does oral conscious sedation work?<\/h2>\n

For patients who have trouble even getting into the dental chair for their appointments, oral conscious sedation may be the most appropriate method of sedation. This method of sedation requires a prescription for a special medication. Patients pick up their prescription and take it orally before their appointment. They must arrange transportation to the office because they are not allowed to drive a vehicle while under the influence of this particular prescription medication.
