Neuromuscular dentistry is an exciting area of dental practice that I thoroughly enjoy. A lot of people feel they have TMJ but really what is going on is that your muscles are not happy. See your upper jaw is connected to your skull but your lower jaw is held in by your muscles of your jaw. If your muscles are unhappy, you jaw is unhappy, and that will transmit pain and so by making your muscles happy, we make you happy. We utilize TENS machines, we have computerized software that will tell us exactly how your muscles need to be so that you are happy and you have a great smile.
